Police Killings Decline After Black Lives Matter Protests

A 2021 study found that in most cities where Black Lives Matter protests occurred, police killings declined (as much as 20%), depicting a correlation between protests and desired change. The increase in body cams and community-policing initiatives were also correlated with these protests.
