Interactions between Civilians and Police could Improve through Police Diversity

A study by Princeton researchers that debuted in 2021 found that diversity within police departments could improve how police treat civilians. The study explained how increased racial, ethnic, and gender diversity within the police can result in the decrease of police mistreatment of minority groups and communities.
